Arrive in Harbin. Afternoon: Ice & Snow World — the world's largest ice sculpture festival. Walk through a frozen city of illuminated ice castles, slides, and sculptures at -20°C. Drink warm Russian-style mulled wine from ice glasses. Evening: St. Sophia Cathedral — a Byzantine-style Russian Orthodox church in Harbin's historic center.
D2Siberian Tiger Park & Russian Heritage▾
Morning: Heilongjiang Siberian Tiger Park — over 500 Siberian tigers in vast enclosures. Walk the glass tunnels as massive cats prowl overhead. Afternoon: Sun Island Snow Sculpture Expo. Evening: Central Street (Zhongyang Dajie) — a 1.4km cobblestone street lined with Russian, Baroque, and Art Nouveau buildings, ending at the frozen Songhua River.
D3Yabuli Ski Resort▾
Full day at Yabuli, China's premier ski resort (3 hours from Harbin). Ski or snowboard on 17 runs across a 1,374m mountain. Private instructor available. Lunch at the Club Med mountain lodge.
