Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive in Sanya. Transfer to your chosen beach resort. Afternoon: beach orientation, pool time, cocktail at sunset. Evening: beachside seafood dinner — Hainan's famous "four famous dishes": Wenchang chicken, Jiaji duck, Dongshan lamb, and Hele crab. Overnight in Sanya.
Morning: Nanshan Temple — the 108m Guanyin statue is mesmerizing. Afternoon: Tianya Haijiao ("Edge of the Sky, End of the Sea") — dramatic coastal scenery with inscribed boulders and the sense of being at the southernmost edge of China. Return to resort for sunset. Overnight in Sanya.
Morning: Binglang Valley — Li textile weaving (UNESCO Intangible Heritage), Miao knife-ladder performance, and the incredible face tattoos of elderly Li women. Afternoon: Luhuitou Park for panoramic views — both bays, the city, and the South China Sea stretching to the horizon. Evening: free — try a beachfront BBQ or explore Sanya's nightlife. Overnight in Sanya.
Final beach walk, last swim, souvenir shopping (pearls, coconut products, tropical fruits like mangosteen and rambutan). Transfer to Sanya Phoenix Airport. You'll be back — people always come back to Sanya.
