Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Sanya Airport. VIP transfer to your luxury resort on Haitang Bay or Yalong Bay. Afternoon at leisure — explore the resort, walk the beach, swim in the infinity pool as the South China Sea stretches before you. Evening: welcome dinner featuring Hainan's finest — fresh lobster, Wenchang chicken, tropical fruits. Overnight in Sanya.
Full day at Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Park — one of China's best-preserved rainforests. Walk the elevated canopy trail through ancient trees, cross suspension bridges, discover hidden waterfalls, and learn about Hainan's incredible biodiversity (the island is home to over 4,000 plant species). For the adventurous: try the rainforest zip-line or the via ferrata cliff walk. Afternoon: visit the Dream Valley orchid garden. Return to resort. Overnight in Sanya.
Full day excursion to Wuzhizhou Island — Hainan's premier island destination. The 30-minute ferry ride delivers you to crystal-clear waters, white coral beaches, and excellent snorkeling/diving. Swim with tropical fish, walk the romantic Lover's Bridge, lounge on the beach, or try water sports. The underwater visibility can reach 27 meters — some of China's best diving. Return to Sanya by late afternoon. Overnight in Sanya.
Morning: Nanshan Temple — spend unhurried time at the magnificent 108m Guanyin statue, explore the temple halls, and walk the peaceful gardens. A vegetarian lunch at the temple restaurant is recommended — excellent Buddhist cuisine. Afternoon: Binglang Valley for Li and Miao culture. Evening: free — enjoy your resort amenities or explore Sanya's dining scene. Overnight in Sanya.
Morning: visit Houhai Fishing Village — a picturesque bay where traditional fishing boats bob in the harbor and simple seafood restaurants serve the morning catch. This is old Hainan, before the resorts arrived. Fresh grilled fish for lunch. Afternoon: free for last beach time, pool, spa, or optional activities (golf, sailing, surfing lessons at Riyue Bay). Overnight in Sanya.
