Day 1Guangzhou — Lingnan Heritage

Arrive in Guangzhou. Afternoon exploration of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and Xiguan Old Houses district. Evening Cantonese dinner featuring roast goose and dim sum. Walk along the illuminated Pearl River promenade with views of Canton Tower.

Day 2Guangzhou — Colonial & Modern

Morning on Shamian Island — wander the tree-lined lanes of this former British-French concession. Visit the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees (1,500 years old). Afternoon: ascend Canton Tower (600m, China's tallest TV tower) for panoramic views. Explore Beijing Road Pedestrian Street with its glass-paneled ancient road remains. Cantonese hotpot dinner.

Day 3Bullet Train to Shenzhen — Tech City

Morning high-speed train to Shenzhen (30 minutes). Ascend the Ping'an Finance Center (599m) for stunning views of the entire Greater Bay Area. Visit the Shenzhen Museum's Reform and Opening-Up exhibition. Afternoon: guided tour of Huaqiangbei, the world's largest electronics market. Evening walk along Shenzhen Bay Park with views across the bay to Hong Kong.

Day 4Shenzhen Culture & Departure

Morning at Splendid China Folk Village and the China Folk Culture Village — explore miniature landmarks and ethnic architecture. Visit Lianhuashan Park to see the Deng Xiaoping statue and learn the story of Shenzhen's transformation. Afternoon: visit the OCT-LOFT creative park for art galleries and design shops. Transfer to Shenzhen airport or train station for departure.

Travel Tip: The Guangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed train runs every 10-15 minutes during the day and takes just 30 minutes. Both cities have extensive metro systems — your guide will handle navigation but the independence is there if you want it. Guangzhou Airport and Shenzhen Airport are both international hubs with connections worldwide. The Greater Bay Area continues to Hong Kong and Macau — easy extensions if you have more time.
