D1Giant Panda Base & Sichuan Cuisine▾

Early 7:30 AM departure to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding — arrive before crowds for the pandas' most active feeding time. See adult pandas, playful cubs, and red pandas in bamboo groves. Afternoon: People's Park — join locals dancing, singing, and matchmaking at the famous 'marriage market'. Evening: Sichuan hot pot dinner followed by face-changing opera at Shufeng Yayun teahouse.

D2Leshan Giant Buddha & Jinli Old Street▾

Morning: day trip to Leshan Giant Buddha — the world's largest stone Buddha at 71 meters, carved into a cliff overlooking the confluence of three rivers. Boat view for full perspective, then climb the narrow cliff path. Afternoon: return to Chengdu, visit Jinli Ancient Street with traditional Sichuan snacks and crafts. Evening: Kuanzhai Alley (Wide & Narrow Alleys) for craft beer and courtyard dining.

D3Dujiangyan Panda Volunteer & Departure▾

Morning: DujiangyanPanda Base volunteer program — prepare panda food, clean enclosures, and observe these gentle giants up close (optional add-on, advance booking required). Alternatively: Dujiangyan Irrigation System — a 2,200-year-old UNESCO engineering marvel that still functions today. Afternoon: transfer.
